Milani is happy to had supported the realization of the book “Le mura di Treviso”, that is showing the most important places of Treviso.
This book recount thoroughly the story of the Treviso, the historical context and the strategic role of the city in the past. Will be unveiled secrets, curiosities and anecdotes of the complex Renaissance system.
We are pleased to had given our contribution toward the creation of the book “ Mi è caduta la marca nel piatto”. One hundred protagonist from Treviso to know together to their favorite dish.
These personalities represent the creative and innovative nucleos of Treviso: they are emerging or already consolidated, big business or artisans. This in the real soul of the territory.
To describe the personalities everyone is paired with his favorite dish, with the recipe to prepare it.
Between 17 and 21 November, Cison di Valmarino, one of the “most beautiful villages in Italy”, hosted the second edition of #Soligoinrete, the information meeting entitled “Sport and business: the most important thing is… turning a profit?”. An opportunity for networking and exchanges between various professionals – journalists and editorialists, communication experts and newspaper editors, businessmen and local authorities – who promote sports activities in various ways. We have decided to support Treviso Basket and bring basketball back to a city that is historically important for the sport, “because for us, sport brings added value: it trains and educates, above all in teamwork”, stated Nicoletta Milani, Business Manager of the company, during the round table discussion.
We invited basketball team Treviso Basket, a team which we sponsor, to spend a day at our headquarters in Meolo, to give the players an insight into how we operate. Together, we went through the various stages in the production process, from the choice of materials to the creation of our chairs, from quality control to the sales offices, finally paying a visit to the showroom where we display all the models we make.
Here are some snaps from the day.
We have always supported the commitment and passion inherent in every sporting event, and we are delighted to have played our part in the final of Golf Challenge. Held in the wonderful setting of Country Club Castelgandolfo, Ufficiostile presented the winners with our Celine, Layla New and Lex office chairs.
Read the news published in Il Messagero on Sunday 17 April.
To us, supporting Treviso Basket means supporting sport culture and its values, sharing a passion with all other partners of Consorzio Universo Treviso, which leads to further initiatives focused on the territory.
Italian craftsmanship, teamwork, tailor-made production and our history have been narrated in two articles dedicated to Italian excellence and lifestyle.
“In the Sixties the expression ‘Made in Italy’ was used as a way to distinguish and protect our products from those from abroad. Today this expression is synonymous with opportunity for Italy and a symbol of creativity, beauty and quality”. These words encapsulate our commitment to creating chairs that convey our values of skill, reliability and great service, as well as the level of excellence that we have been striving to achieve for forty years.
We would like to extend our thanks to the editorial staff at Donna Moderna and Il Giornale for the articles that they dedicated to us in their special inserts (“Lifestyle” and “Industria” respectively).
The first edition of #soligoinrete is currently under way, running from 10 to 15 November in Pieve di Soligo, Treviso. #soligoinrete is a meeting dedicated to the relationship between journalism and the economy.
We are happy to contribute to this interesting event with Daisy, the Milani chairs used to accommodate guests onto the stage, and to have participated in the talk “Venetians, the crisis… and the relaunch”: a stimulating opportunity for dialogue and debate with other entrepreneurs from the area.

The Gazzettino di Treviso and the Tribuna have both included articles in their recent editions to mark our company’s 40th anniversary, underlining the passion and endeavour that make our products stand out from the crowd.
“Milani, Italian national treasure in the office furniture sector.” We would like to thank them for their kind words, which fill us with satisfaction and spur us on to keep improving our products and the technology and design that go into them, continue to innovate with our use of materials and look to offer more tailormade Italian solutions to our clients.
We would like to thank all those who joined us to celebrate this major milestone in the history of our company. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the commitment and values that have guided and inspired Milani over the past 40 years, as well as a chance to present new beginnings and future plans.
Here are some mementos of the day and the celebrations, which your attendance and support helped make so special.
2015 is a very important year for us: it marks 40 year of Milani business activity that will be celebrated on 18th September.
A chance to recall the company’s origins and most important stages, sharing the results achieved and the objectives still to come, in keeping with the values that characterise the Milani company.
It is in this occasion that the new headquarters, in Roncade (Province of Treviso,) will be opened with the entire Milani ‘family’, from managers to line staff, consultants, suppliers and clients, everyone will be involved – still supporting the company and its projects with passion and commitment, 40 years later.
Last May we attended for the first time the Workspace Index Design 2015 Exhibition in Dubai, one of the most important event in the world for Interior Design and Architecture.
It was our first time but it was really an exciting and amazing experience, an opportunity to discover and deep the knowledge of the Middle East and Asian markets; we managed to introduce our new proposals and we had the great chance to match different approaches, in an absolutely positive environment and elegant atmosphere.
From May the 18th to May 21st we will introduce our new models at the Dubai World Trade Center during the Workspace Index Design 2015 Exhibition.
We look forward to show you the new products we developed combining our creativity and technique.

On Thursday 9th and Friday 10th October 2014 the new Milani products will be presented along with the preview of the 2015 catalogue to the agents.
The current year drawing to an end will be discussed as well as future projects.
Sunday 5th October 2014, the new season opened successfully at the Palaverde with the first match of De Longhi Treviso against Viola Reggio Calabria.
The enthusiasm and great support shown by the public confirmed and reinforced our decision to support this team by adhering to the Universo Treviso League.
Last August the fifth edition of the book show “Libri nel Borgo Antico” took place in Bisceglie, involving several national authors in a series of meetings, presentations and debates.
Our armchair Daisy was chosen for the seating for many of the presentations, including the final appointment which brought the show to an end with Vittorio Sgarbi and Marcello Veneziani.
The second issue of “Interior Design”, sold as a supplement to the daily newspaper “Il Giornale”, dedicates an article to our company and to our work.
– “A chair that is a pleasure to look at and is certainly not disappointing from the viewpoint of comfort” – This is the description of the projects that we carry out and realize, in a harmonious combination of research, attention to detail, quality of materials and innovation.
For us the importance of studying each product according to the specific needs of our clients and also the environments in which the product will be collocated is fundamental in order to always offer the best personalized solution.
From 18 to 30 June at Pavart in Rome, artist Angelo Savarese displayed a selection of his most recent works in the solo exhibition “Provocazioni” (Provocations).
Along with the works by the artist, a star of the event and exhibition space was our Handle sofa, which invited visitors to take a seat.
Creativity is the common thread of our collaboration with Pavart, promoting a dialogue with art in all of its different forms.
The idea of collaborating with Mosaico, a firm in San Biagio di Callalta (TV) specialized in interior design and planning and like us pooled with UniVerso Treviso, emerges with the spirit of creating new networks and new synergic collaboration.
For the new offices of Mosaico we shall create some furnishings, including the office seating. This is how dialogue is set up with other entities of the territory.
Thank you, UniVerso Treviso!
How should we support the continuity of Basketball and of the sporting triumphs of the past in Treviso?
That’s the question we tried to answer before meeting up with the UniVerso Treviso Consortium that is aiming to bring out the best of the territory and the interwoven social fabric of the area around Treviso through a network of collaborative activity with Trevisan firms.
Thus a dialogue has been taken up that will lead to a new era based upon collective choices. Our contribution will be perceived by all the spectators of the Treviso Basket matches who from December onwards will be able to sit on the new seats designed by Milani reserved for them.
UniVerso Treviso is expanding and we are great fans!
The collaboration set up with the UniVerso Treviso Consortium has given rise to a new project labelled Milani for the PalaCicogna Sports Centre of Ponzano Veneto (TV).
We have created the prototypes of the seats and benches for the parterre with our team-players in mind: an initiative taken up with enthusiasm in support of the Treviso Basket team and all the challenges awaiting it.
Good luck, boys!
We have been selected by Nea, a magazine for business women, to feature among the stories that can in some way restore faith in the productive force of our country (o ‘town’ se si riferisce solo a Treviso).
Nicoletta Milani, who directs the company together with her sisters Giuliana and Francesca, talks about the decisions that have contributed to constructing our story.
Research and innovation, the creation of a team of internal collaborators and the setting up of combined efforts with others, creativity and techniques, strength and ergonomics of the seating, all these concepts are amalgamated to point towards the development of new projects in the context of a contract. Equally as important is the implementation of an integrated management system for quality, environment, safety and social responsibility with the aim of satisfying all types of marketing requirements, and the opening up to foreign markets (France, United Kingdom, Canada), the inauguration of two new show rooms in Milan and London, with the idea of opening others in areas considered to be strategic, as well as marketing techniques for more efficient communication. The positive trend emerging over the last 18 months confirms that we’re moving in the right direction.
